Our Water Source Profile
|
Kauri Springs is the site of an extinct
volcano named Mt Pukekaroro
which is part of the Pukekaroro
Scenic Reserve.
Rainfall is collected in a 15 km radius
on the northern environs of the
reserve and lies in a pristine aquifer,
deep underground.
Rainwater is organically filtered for
hundreds of years by a unique
combination of volcanic sediments rich in minerals, resulting in naturally silica
rich spring water of exceptional quality and purity.
Silica, often referred to as the youth
mineral, is a naturally rejuvenating
anti oxidant which stimulates our
immune system and improves cell
metabolism.
Spring water is forced up under
great pressure to flow from naturally
aspiring springheads found
throughout kauri springs
Our spring water is one of the very
few rated as fit for human
consumption direct from the source.
A natural flow rate of over 90 litres
per minute allows us to process
high volumes without affecting the
natural balance of the aquifer.
Our water processing provides
premium spring water to our
customers as close to natures
formula as it is possible to be.

Trial & Evaluation

Nov 2004 Food & Beverage article on water comparisons reads:
Kauri Springs water is smooth and velvety with a clean texture and perfectly
neutral taste.......seems to glide over the palate and dissolve gently rather than
"wash" the mouth. excellent. |
